We do servicing, brakes, suspension, fault finding, engine work, gearboxes and tyres for every make. We tell you the price before the work starts, and we are open on Saturdays too. Drop in, call, or book a time online.
For diagnostics and small jobs you can also come without an appointment.
What we do
Repairs of every kind
We are not specialised in one make or one job. Most cars in Finland are 10–20 years old, and those are the cars we work on every day.
Scheduled servicing and oil changes
To the manufacturer's service schedule, with the service book filled in. A new car keeps its warranty.
Brakes, suspension and shock absorbers
Pads, discs, control arms, joints and bearings. The most common reason a car fails its inspection.
Fault finding, diagnostics and electrical faults
Warning lights, intermittent faults and starting problems. Electrical faults are work many workshops would rather not take.
Engine work, timing belts and chains
Large jobs that keep a lift occupied for a long time. We have the room for that.
Clutches and gearboxes
Clutch kits, gearbox faults and driveshafts. Demanding jobs are finished here, not passed on.
Exhausts and cooling
Leaks, noises and overheating. Welding is done here as well.
Tyres and tyre hotel
Seasonal changes and tyre storage. We store seasonal tyres cool and dry. We neither sell tyres nor repair punctures.
Air conditioning, batteries and charging systems
Refrigerant work by a mechanic holding the certification. When we change a battery we test the alternator.
We do not do accident repair, painting or vehicle inspection. We are glad to tell you where to go for those.

We confirm the time
We call, go through what we will do and what it costs, and agree the time. Nothing binds you before that.

Bring the car at the agreed time
Work starts then, not an hour later. If we find something else in the car, we call before touching it.

Collect the car, the price matches what was agreed
We walk through the work at handover. There are no surprises on the invoice.
For diagnostics and small jobs, such as a bulb change, you can come without an appointment. In busy weeks a booking saves waiting.

2year warranty
The warranty covers both the labour and the parts
The warranty is two years or 25,000 kilometres, whichever comes first, and it applies to every repair. If something does not hold, we put it right at no charge. The warranty is written, and it is given automatically without you having to ask for it.
All makes, not one
We are not specialised in one make. The average Finnish car is about 13 years old, and those are the cars in our bays every day. The same goes for makes a franchise dealer sees only rarely.
Open on Saturdays too
For many people Saturday is the only day the car can be brought in. Here you do not have to take time off work for it.
Straightforward, no paperwork
You bring the car in, you tell us what it is doing, and we handle the rest. No forms, no waiting on the phone, no three different people to explain the same thing to.
We tell you before we do it
If we find something other than what was agreed, we call you first. We tell you what it costs and what happens if the work is left undone. You decide.
Prices
Hourly rate 75 €
The most common jobs have a fixed price. On larger repairs the price depends on what we find in the car, so we give an estimate only once we have seen it. We do not guess over the phone.

About us
Autohuolto Mestarit is a full-service workshop on Tuulilasintie in Helsinki. We service and repair all makes: scheduled servicing, brakes and suspension, diagnostics, engine work, gearboxes, tyres and air conditioning.
An agreed time holds. Your car goes on a lift when we said it would, not an hour later, and we tell you the collection time when we confirm the booking.
We take the work others pass on. Electrical faults, intermittent faults and older cars take time, and we do not rush past them.
We do not start work you do not know about. If we find something beyond what was agreed, we call and give you the price before we touch it. We also record what we recommended and what you chose not to have done, so next time you and we both remember.
